Hunting Whistles (Pre-WWI and Post-WWI)
$3.99Price
Every hunter should carry a signaling whistle! This is useful if you are hunting with a party and need to locate each other. Traditionally, three blasts is an emergency call requesting assistance. They can also be used for Morse code, or for calling hunting dogs.
We offer two options, depending on your 20th century impression. Our Pre-WWI version is 1 and 7/8 inches long, made of solid brass, and makes a loud, shrill sound. Our Post-WWI version is based off the trench whistle used in Europe during the Great War. It is made of tin and makes a slightly more musical note, but still quite loud. It is 2 and 1/2 inches long.
