This is a truly delightful pipe. Expertly hand-carved from Turkish pipestone. Stem is faux amber. Comes with padded case. Not only is a meerschaumb the best smoking pipe you'll ever experience, but this one is truly beautiful. This makes an excellent conversation piece. As you use this pipe, it will take on a golden patina that is highly desirable. This one is new old stock, never used. Based on the materials used in the stem and case, I would say it is fairly modern, but as the bowls are made the same way they always have, it is otherwise indistinguishable from ones made 100 years ago.
