Fisherman's Watch Chain Charm Knife
Display your prowess on your watch chain! Sportsmen of the late 19th and early 20th Century would often display small charms on their watch chains to show what their favorite hobbies were. All men wore some sort of watch, and it usually had a chain and fob attached. The fob had a purpose in keeping the other end of the chain in the pocket, and generally was not seen, though they were often very ornate and usually monogrammed. Charms, on the other hand, were simply decorations added to the chain and were meant to be seen.
This lovely brass fish charm also conceals a real pocket knife blade! Perfectly shaped for cleaning ones fingernails, and sharp enough to use for cutting, it's a great conversation piece.
Charm measures approximately 1 1/4" closed, 2" open.
