Sailors ditty boxes were used for storing all sorts of small things, such as sewing kits, buttons, a few coins, small dice, or anything else a sailor might want to keep safe! Box is made of wood and is about 3" tall and 4.5" in diameter. Hand-painted and lined with reproduction period newspaper.
