We need more product photos for our website. Rather than hiring a model, we thought we'd rather give back to our wonderful customers! Send us your photo of you in your Logsdon & Co clothing. If we like it, and decide to use it, we'll send you a $25 gift certificate to use toward any of our products!
Here's what we're looking for:
Logsdon & Co clothing prominently worn and situated as the forefront of the image.
No easily recognizable products from other outfitters, such as "Bean Boots", etc.
Historically authentic presentation.
Don't wear modern clothing with your L&Co. outfit. Make sure your accessories are correct.
High quality, large resolution image files. We need good resolution for ad copy.
Please upload a file size of at least 5mb.
Pay attention to lighting.
Late morning and late afternoon are often the best times for natural lighting photos, because the sun is in an ideal position for full body illumination and a warm glow. Be aware of any strange shadows cast by trees, etc.
Period backgrounds are a plus!
Of course, we can edit out some things, but it's way cooler if you use a backdrop that doesn't require editing. Have an old car? A wooden shack? A steam tractor? Way cool!
If it's not L&Co., antique is better!
We realize that not everyone has a full outfit of our clothing. We also understand that you may have reproduction gear from another supplier. That's okay, as long as logos can't be seen. However, if you have original antique articles of clothing, or accessories you want to use, that's even better! Just remember that the L&Co. product you are showing off needs to be front and center, and prominently visible.
Any age, gender, or race is excellent!
We want to show that EVERYONE wears our gear!
You can enter as many times as you like!
We will provide a $25 gift certificate for every photo we decide to use. Please don't be disappointed if we don't choose your photo. We are going to be extremely selective in the process. We also will be looking for a wide age range, so if we have a lot of good photos, but all in one age bracket, we may select fewer of that group.
